All attendees may bid on Silent Auction items.

	Decide what you want to offer.
	You may offer more than one item or service.
	For example, if you provide special herbal mixtures, you can offer two or more herbal products. If you offer services you can offer two or more sessions.
	You may want to offer different levels of products or services such as an assorted family package of products, or a simple one-hour session vs. a complete one-day therapy.

More items donated translate to greater exposure for you and greater service to NAMA and to Ayurveda as a whole.

All offerings are displayed on the Silent Auction table for the entire conference in a prominent high-visibility location.

Each item has a bid card where attendees make bids for them during the conference. For each product, provide the actual item with any information or description about the product as needed. For each service, provide a clear succinct and description and/or a picture if it is helpful to describe your service

Be sure to specify a reasonable deadline for providing any services. It is recommended to quote a specific date vs. something like “90 days from the end of the conference”. Also, be very clear about what your service does and does not include if there is any possibility for misunderstanding.

A complete list of all items being offered in the silent auction will be provided to all attendees at the conference. To be included in the list your silent auction offerings must be submitted no later than 5:00 PM, Mountain Time, Friday October 10.

You may submit offerings at any time after the deadline; however, your offering will not be included in the Auction list.

The auction closes on Saturday at 2:30 PM. Those with the highest bids will be posted Saturday night. On Sunday, participants may go to the silent auction table to pay for and pick up their items. Contributors will be notified of the high bidder and their bid by email by Oct 31, 2008. All proceeds go to NAMA.

NOTE: Do not send any Silent Auction items to the conference team members directly. You may ship them to the Hotel or carry them with you when you arrive. If you ship them to the Hotel, be sure to mark them clearly for the Silent Auction. (Refer to Package Handling in the Exhibitor section).
